Nancy Chang

Operations Director at Arts Corps
Nancy Chang is a co-founder and board chair of Skate Like a Girl, an action sports leadership program for young women, and is the former executive director of Reel Grrls, a pioneering media training program for girls. Nancy is active in Seattle community groups and sits on the board of Artist Trust, Skate Like a Girl, and serves on community committees like Seattle Arts Leadership Team and Womxn’s Creative Industries Meet-up. She holds a Master of Public Administration and a Bachelors of Fine Arts from the University of Washington.

Behnam Daneshvar

Founder of Brave Sprout Productions
Behnam Daneshvar is an Iranian film director and musician. He went to film school in Iran and has engaged in many different projects either as director, DP or editor ever since. He has been in the music industry for over 20 years and has performed and instructed Iranian traditional music. After moving to the USA at 2010, he continued his carrier in California and Seattle while going to School for Digital Media Art. He’s also made many different Music videos, travel documentaries and worked in press.

Alayne Fardella

Former COO at The Seattle Times
Alayne Fardella is recently retired from her role as President and COO of The Seattle Times, where she spent 23 years of her career. Prior to that, she held various leadership positions in several Silicon Valley technology companies. She currently spends her time between Seattle and Bend, Oregon while serving as a Commissioner for the Seattle Center as well as serving as Board Member for Sound Generations.

Melanie Friesen

Vancouver International Film Festival Programmer
Melanie Friesen programs and presents Cinema Salon at the Vancouver International Film Festival and is a consultant on the festival's international programming. Previously, she was VP of Scorsese Productions in New York, VP of Creative Affairs at Cineplex Odeon Films in LA, Director of Creative Affairs for MGM/UA in London, UK and a literary agent for film writers and directors in London, UK.
